How to fish it

Work the drop-offs around the bank. 1/8–1/4 oz jig, keep it ticking shell. Do not idle across the crown.

Long oyster shell reef west of Lap Reef. Sits on a structural high southeast of Mission Bay. Classic mid-bay holding water.

Late spring through late fall.

Prop hazard. Idle the last 100 yards. Pole or Power-Pole on the edge — do not plane over the crown. Haynie Cat 23 floats it; the gearcase will not.
